1965-07-18: accablé dans un tornade, mi-Lac Ontario au large de Trenton, ON, en route de Trois-Pistoles à North Tonawanda, N-Y avec 550 cordes de billes de tremble. Coulé jusqu'au pont, mais resté flottant gràce au cargo de bois sec. Remorqué par Georgian Bay à Rochester. Déchargé à la main la cargaison en  pontée, renfloué, et en deux semaines fait des réparations aux moteurs et à la coque. Déchargé le reste de la cargaison à North Tonawanda. 

Déclaration de perte total à Marine Industres Ltée, Sorel et à Davie Bros, Lévis. Navire retraité.

 1965-07-18: Overwhelmed by a sudden tornado in mid Lake Ontario, off Trenton, ON while en route Trois-Pistoles to North Tonawanda, NY with 550 cords of aspen wood. Sank to deck level, but remained afloat due to the cargo of dry wood. Towed to Rochester, NY by Georgian Bay. Unloaded deck cargo by hand, refloated,  and in two weeks made repairs to the hull and motors. 

Delivered the remaining cargo to North Tonawanda. 

Declared a total loss at Marine Industries Ltd,  Sorel and at Davie Brothers, Lévis. Ship retired.

1966 : Installé sur des piliers à Maillard comme monument de l'hisotire de la construction des goélettes, mais vandalisé et brulé.
