L'équipe de 13 a embarqué dans le canot de sauvetage et sont sauvé par HMCS Provider. Foundation Viceroy a remorqué le navire jusqu'au Macnab's Cove out le navire est échouée et le cargaison est enlevée.

 25 miles from Halifax, herring cargo shifted, danger of capsizing, 13 crew took to lifeboat, picked up by HMCS Provider, landed in Halifax. Ship taken in tow by Foundation Viceory and beached in Macnabs Cove where cargo removed.
